Some more unknown items from the personal collection of legendary horn player Dennis, superbly performed by Stephen Stirling on an Alexander 103, with Ana Manastireanu and Tony Halstead as pianists. As well as British items and indeed the delightful and very difficult ‘Improvisation’ by French composer Yvonne Desportes from the DB Library, we have added some really important unknown works for horn and piano by British composers from the early and mid 20th century, especially the Sonata by Kent-born William Maurice Miles, which everyone is going to want to perform.
